Grameen Trust (GT) reached 1,007 Nobin Uddyokta (NUs) at its 39th Internal Social Business Design Lab (ISBDL) held on April 13, 2016. The Design Lab was chaired by Professor H. I. Latifee, Managing Director Grameen Trust. Thirty nine proposals were presented by the potential NUs during the Lab. Out of thirty nine proposals, thirty eight proposals were approved and one proposal was sent for review. Total amount of approved investment to thirty eight projects was Tk. 36,45,000 (USD 46,540).
Till April 21, 2016 GT has approved 1,022 Nobin Udyokta projects (NUPs) with the equity investment of BDT 14,85,65,000 (USD 18,96,897.34). The business of the projects include shop, livestock and fisheries, factory, cottage industry, business, service and transportation, etc.
