Grameen Intel has successfully reached 41 locations with its eAgro solutions
.
This milestone has been achieved in collaboration with several implementing partners. GISB's eAgro solutions have helped empower hundreds of micro entrepreneurs across the country. Entrepreneurs can now provide expert agricultural recommendations to farmers at the bottom of the pyramid with the help of GISB's eAgro solutions.

Entrepreneurs provided recommendations to farmers using GISB's mrittikā, a soil nutrient analysis and fertilizer recommendation software to get customized information on specific fertilizer types, quantity, dosage and application procedure. This helped farmers achieve higher yields and lowered costs. Farmers also benefited from protikāra software for managing plant diseases, weeds and pest organisms that damage agricultural crops. This software also provides protection and prevention methods from harmful insects and numerous plant diseases that afflict crops. One of the key obstacles that farmers face is accessibility to buyers and the ability to sell their products at fair market prices. For that, entrepreneurs used vistār, which is a yield calculation and market linkage recommendation software to help farmers sell their harvest at the best prices to the best buyers.

Going forward, farmers will be empowered and more aware of best farming practices.
